From: Darrin on 16 Apr 2008 08:30 "The following error occurred attempting to join the domin: Logon failure: unknown user or bad password." I'm trying to join a Dell Latitude D520 with XP Pro SP2 to a 2003 domain and that is the error I'm getting. I've swapped the hard drive with a known good hard drive that I was able to join to the domain with no success. The hard drive out of the suspect laptop was able to join the domain in another laptop. The laptop is getting an IP address and can get out to the web. It's pulling everything it needs except joining the domain. All acccounts used (4 so far) are domain admins. I checked the log and am getting a returned 1326 error. Any ideas?

From: Darrin on 17 Apr 2008 15:52 After spending the majority of today with this problem. I finally ended up swapping the hdd into another laptop and joined the domain. Next I swapped the hdd back to the original problem laptop and was able to unjoin and rejoin the domain. Not sure what the hold up was but we got it working. "Robert L.
