Sorry, I garbled that last line.

As a test, if you open the message window (Ctrl+M) type the line

open the moviePath & "content.exe"

and press Enter, it should open your executable. This does have to be a
movie you have saved, because for new movies

the moviePath = ""

Are you asking WHERE this code needs to ultimately reside? If so, you
will have to give some more info. Do you need it to execute when the
user clicks some object? Or after your animation plays? Or what?

Ha! I had no idea lingo had such natural language, but the test does work! u
rock. I just applied to a sprite with a mouse up action and bam, it works. But
testing on a mac intel is not so easy, as Director does now communicate with at

works...saved my butt.

or else open content.exe

cheers

open the moviePath & "content.exe"
.
thats all I get, but I bet it has something to do with being on a
