My nightly backup got hung on a "clearchangebits" task and we were forced to
kill the process to alleviate some application blocking (Highly used
production server). Now the backup SPID is stuck in KILLED\ROLLBACK status
and KILL <SPID> statusonly shows rollback is 100% complete? I'm reluctant to
restart the SQL Service to clear the KILLED process because the "killed"
backup is preventing a clean backup before the restart! Any suggestions?
