From: pinkpanther on 11 Jan 2007 06:45 I have been away from PC building for sometime. I was looking to upgrade my CPU from a 1700+ to something new. I found an AthlonXP 2100 AXDA2100UT3C. Will this work in a KT7A-Raid V1.3? Any CPU recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks, Larry

Yes. if it's an unlocked model, then it will boot at 2000MHz (20x100). if it's a locked model, it should boot at default 1733MHz (13x133) or 1300MHz (13x100). Set it to 133Mhz FSB. > Any CPU recommendations would be appreciated. Depending on the model of the 1700+ you now have, you may be able to clock it just as high.
