Does anyone know how to keep a Motorola C975 fully charged while the USB
cable is in place?

I use it to access the net and it can get rather annoying when in the middle
of a tournament or conversation the battery dies.

Using 2 batteries isn't practical as they'll both need charging, same goes
for buying a more expensive PAYG phone, then paying extra for the cable and
software.

It uses a SNN5743A battery if that's any help.

Get a charging USB cable. Most phones come with a charging USB cable
these days. All my phones have one.

"Most phones" certainly do not come with this facility, only a handful
do, compared to all of the phones which are currently available.

Well, I may have just been lucky then. However, I within the last year
and a half, I have bought and still have the following AT&T phones,
Treo 750, Samsung Blackjack, Moto Q9h, Moto SLVR L7, and they all came
with a charging data USB cable. The cheapo Moto V195 I bought from
Tmobile USA also came with a charging data cable. Heck! If every single
phone I have bought lately came with one, it easy to think most of them
do, anyway, maybe not.
