Am I missing something?
I want to export a keychain, so I can import it in another machine. Is
there a way of doing that?
Export is greyed out.

I too had that problem. It seems to be random behaviour. Sometimes the
entry was greyed out, other times not. I never did discover the
problem, but eventually I managed to get keychain into a state where
it was possible to export.

The help for Keychain Access suggests copying the keychain file(s)
directly onto another machine and loading them in that way. Doesn't
even mention Export.

I did that in the end. It just seems odd to have an export option that
doesn't seem to work!
