If Charle's, from 8 Bit design's REALLY has a K-Pad for 20 bucks---- that WORKS --- Buy it now ( you can use any dull object on draw on it ---- the "stylus" was just a plastic "pen" ) Don't let Ramswell and Ladmo's friendly bantering discourage you !! ( hold them to thier words posted here) and buy one I have to say this tho--- from personal experience --- The K-pad basicly sucks... it "was" VERY cool <in it's time>.... but so was a COLORED !! monitor in 40 column's but by today's standards.. if you want your daughter's want to get interested in Graphic's...... the K-pad will WITHOUT DOUBT, make them run and hide from further interest. Many, AWESOME pic's have floated the modem lines for years made from the K-pad... but those that made them, were very-very-very-very dedicated to the craft. If you don't believe me.... give Charle's the 20 bucks.... get the K- pad, and try it out BEFORE, you let the kids use it..... and see if you think it will "keep thier interest" in such a contraption. On the bright side --- a working K-pad, with original software 10 years from now... will be worth more than the 20 bucks you spent --- and even today, sells regularly for much more than that --- on Ebay --- so get a 20 dollar K-pad from ramswell, now that he made the offer public to you. But buy it as an investment... if you want to get a drawing tablet for the kids... get one for the PC ( they are only 60 bucks for a cheapie).... because the kids won't be using a C64 when they grow up <will they> --- and beside's, YOU might enjoy a "real" tablet too. bottom line --- K-pads suck -- you have to be very-very deticated to make it do its full potential --- but even "if" you do ??? what do you have ??? a low res pic, by todays standards, that you can't share without aditional software, in the "modern" world. (Get the kid's a updated "book" to learn from ---- not a Kpad )

Lololol I forget whether I've asked before, but does your last word above mean, "Laugh out loud out loud out loud," or is it just the sound you make when you're laughing? Just curious. ps: Note my use of quotation marks compared to yours. -- Ian Colquhoun

Remember: only "500P3R-343373 P33P5" are supposed to use this super- elite expression. We're not one of them - we're restricted to "lol" only -, not even Google seems to. Charles/8-bit Designs, The One Who Knows, on the other hand, is.
