From: epvipas on 17 Jun 2008 17:57 From the command line (you can CTRL-ALT-F1) if needed. $ cd /etc/X11 $ cp xorg.conf xorg.conf.randomstring (replacing randomstring with something memorable) $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg Then reboot and see if it improves things. If not then move the backed up xorg.conf file back.
