Next: Can X1950XT handle two different refresh rates at the same time?
From: KlausK on 29 Nov 2007 18:00 I recently bought an LG 47" 47LBX LCD HDTV (absolutely stunning) and want to hook it up with a Radeon X1950XT graphic card in my PC. The ATI control panel offers several options for HDTV (e.g., 1080p). Do they matter? Can I just treat my LG LCD TV as an LCD PC monitor?

Some hook up to a PC and work fine, others require that you do some tweaking. Only way to find out for sure is to try it. -- -- --John to email, dial "usenet" and validate (was jclarke at eye bee em dot net)

When I hooked it up to my PC via RGB, it was recognized as an LG TV . I confugured the rez for my monitor (1920x1200) and the TV (1920x1080) in CCC. However, the rez doesn't automatically change when I switch between the two. Maybe, I'll try a DVI-to-HDMI cable. |
