Prev: How to make DVD/RW drive work with e.g., Slackware 12.
Next: Can I software RAID 1 two external (USB) hard drives?
From: Ben on 24 Jan 2008 23:47 So I went ahead and build my first RAID server: Motherboard: FoxConn 6100K8MA-RS RAID card: LSI Logic MegaRAID i4 Drives: 2x Seagate 500GB ATA100 - ST3500630A 2x Western Digital 500GB ATA100 - WD5000AAJB Unfortunately, the RAID card only recognizes each drive with only 131MB instead of 500MB when I fire up its configuration utility. I plugged them in one by one but still, none of them would register with anything more. Since I bought the RAID card used, I suspect that the setup of the previous owner is still resident. Any idea how to reset the card? - Ben
