Battery Power Causes Laptop's Performance to Decline Hello. I've done a lot a troubleshooting on my laptop and I've learned that my battery is causing my computer to act sluggish. Let me elaborate a little more...It's only sluggish when it comes to typing, scrolling, and flash animations. Toshiba Satelitte A215 S7437 Just had it dumped into my lap. Installed all SW, but still have to do the rest of the drivers. Got video nightmare straightened out. DVD works. Compaq Presario Repair? ThinkPad R61 & T61 differences I've been looking at Lenovo's Web page to see what it would cost to get identically configured 14.1" R61 and T61 notebooks and except for some ..1" thickness and .2 lbs weight advantage, I could not figure out what else there was in T61 that justified the approx. 30% higher price. anti-static measures / haywire keyboard / advice? It was a bit rash of me, possibly, but I corrected a wrongly-fitting keyboard in my laptop without looking up any info about anti-static measures. HP Evo N600c power plug problem. Advice? On my HP N600c laptop, the the connection between the power brick and the laptop bas to be wiggled sometimes. Does anyone with experience with this model know if the problem is likely on the MoBo or the power cable. If it's the latter, I'll buy a knew plug or brick. Any advice is appreciated. Battery Charge Sometimes? I have a used Dell Inspiron 8200, the battery was dead and wouldn't charge above 9% until one day it did, full charge, charge lasted about 2.5 hours, now it won't charge again. Any ideas? ... 1 Feb 2008 15:20
