How to exclude MULTIPLE directories in a rsync command ? As I learned from the man page of rsync I can exclude a certain directory (trees) by using the --exclude option like in rsync .... --exclude=/proc .... NTPD howto? I can't figure ntpd out. I've got it configured ( using the defaults ) on a fedora 8 box. It starts and runs... it just doesn't keep my non-stable-clock system up to date. 7 second pause when writing file using samba before it is read via NFS I use a server as a go-between between my Windows Vista desktop machine and some of my linux development machines.
