JBL SR4722 A Spkrs... good investment? I see a handful of these used locally to me, but not sure if they're a good speaker for me. Are they power hogs? I'm only using my Yamaha P7000S for both mains and subs (700W/ch @ 8ohms and 950W/ch @ 4ohms), looks like it wouldn't be enough to power the JBL's. Peavey PV12M as pole speakers Are these garbage? Application is small, three-peice (2 gtr, 1 percussion) vocals-and-guitars (and maybe a percussion mic if needed ). Weekend warrior thing. I record my gigs on MD which is a bit of a pain to transfer to the computer so I quite fancy a solid state jobby. There seems to be lots of choice / lots of features. Thanks George! Well, thanks to your suggestion of the Sennheiser G2 we are now getting a G2 handheld. They want to buy my presently unused Shure lapel, but unsure of the current value of the unit.
