From: kevbieri on 18 Jun 2008 02:01 I recently read The User Illusion by Tor Norretranders and wanted to expand my knowledge in some of the topics he touches on. Does anybody know of any good books that discuss the development of information theory? And also, can anybody recommend a good book that surveys the history of computing from a scientific perspective? Ie, the evolution of the ideas that has led to the modern idea of computing? Maybe thats a little broad, but thats what im aiming for. Thanks for any help
