From: Beverly Howard [Ms-MVP/MobileDev] on 5 Feb 2008 13:19 I _think_ this is related to using hibernation. The SD (Media card) slot disappears sometime after rebooting... i.e. it's there when I reboot, but somewhere down the line, the slot disappears from file explorer. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a cure? fwiw, the easiest and quickest way to get it back is to open device manager and have it scan for hardware changes.
