Hi Group,

Using XP PRO and getting MIE error

When right click on the MIE Icon to get the property open I get an Error

rundll32.exe - bad Image

The application or DLL C:\Windows\system32\RASDLGdll is not valid Windows
image. Please check this against your Installation diskette.

Any ideas to what I have to do

Thanks for the reply in advance.

Do you mean MS Internet Explorer 8? If so, remove it and use IE7 or
switch to firefox. IE8 has way too many problems on XP to bother with.

Try this:
1. Boot in SAFE mode
2. Download a fresh copy of RASDLG.DLL (various places on the web)
3. Put it in your C:\Windows\System32\ folder, replacing whatever's there

If that doesn't work...
4. At a command prompt, navigate to the above folder and type

REGSVR32 rasdlg.dll

You will find support for Internet Explorer in this MS forum now:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/threads

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2;
Vista SP1; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7; Win7 64-bit) as well as your current IE
version (e.g., IE6, IE7, IE8) in your first post.
