When I try to run a report that uses a Report Model, MOSS says it cannot be
found when it is there. A different report that use Data Source without
Report Model works ok. Any ideas anyone please.

Thing is when I use the Report Center template and do the same thing it
works fine!!!

What is MOSS doing, to not be able to find the Report Model please and how
can I fix it urgently....

Hi Steve,
I understand that you have a SSRS report using report data model that could
not be found in your MOSS.
If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

Did you encounter similar issue as mentioned in this feedback site?
https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackI

Appreciate your understanding that this issue seems most likely related to
MOSS and that it should be best addressed at sharepoint community. I
recommend that you have a new post at sharepoint community so that you can
get dedicated support and wider audience.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to let me
know.

Best regards,
Charles Wang

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for
non-urgent issues where an initial response from the community
or a Microsoft Support Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable.
Please note that each follow up response may take approximately
2 business days as the support professional working with you may
need further investigation to reach the most efficient resolution.
The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by
contacting Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at

Hi Charles,
That connect link is totally unrelated to my issue. My issue is more to do
with being unable to access the Report Model which is referenced in an RDL
file. I will do as you say though and repeat log this issue with Sharepoint
guys.

Fingers crossed.
