From: Erik B Erik on 7 May 2008 01:00 I've tried several times to install Project Pro 2007 on Vista Ultimate. The install says it completed, but when I try to run it, the program goes into this loop where it's configuring, then the splash screen appears, and then it configures again, and finally says it couldn't configure because there isn't enough memory. I have 2 gigs of Ram, 28 gigs of HD space and nothing else is running except bloated Vista. Any ideas? Everything else in Office installed and runs fine, including Visio. Erik

From: Erik B on 7 May 2008 14:49 Mike, Thanks for the information, but I've tried everything there and it's not working. I think maybe it's time to look for another program. I've wasted two days trying to get Project to install (the installer says it was successful every time) and run without success. I'll just take it back and find one that will work on Vista. I even tried a trick I learned when I installed the Adobe Suite (creating a new user with admin privs to install) and it didn't work either. I tried downloading the demo version just in case there was something wrong with my CD. Same problem. From: Mike Glen on 8 May 2008 09:52 Sorry you can't load Project,Erik. It works fine on my Vista Home installation and I'm sure it's in regular use on Vista Ultimate. Maybe you'd like to try the server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups.
