Hello. I am in the middle of an oracle e-business suite implementation. I
have a "HandHeld" barcode scanner that is running Windows mobile 5. So far,
I have tried a free JVM called mysaifu but have been unable to connect,
although I can connect from my pc using an emulator. I have also tried
running putty from the handheld to do telnet and can connect but am unable
to transfer info from scan into putty. i.e. the user name and password to
log on to mwa. I cannot find info on what or how to connect.

On the scanners I've seen (not Windows), you have to configure them to
say who they are and where they are to connect to. Then you have to
have some sort of program that says how to enter and send data - I've
seen scanners where you have to buy a C programming product to do
this, and others with their own special language. The emulator must
have some sort of setup to look like the scanner. Your scanner must
have a users guide that says how to do this. Have you looked for one
on the manufacturer's web site?
