Keychain wants a "Login keychain password"? Trying to get a password from Keychain, and it's now asking for a "Login keychain password". I have no idea what that would be! Of course, there's no "Cancel" button, so I have to either select "Always allow", "Deny", or "Allow". I have no idea what I'd be allowing or denying. I tried clicking on the "Details" ... 21 Jun 2008 09:42
Classic consuming lots of CPU time? I happened to notice last night that the remaining battery time on my Powerbook was much less than I would have expected given how I was using it. It's something like a six-month old battery so I was feeling annoyed, of course, fearing it was failing prematurely. For some reason I decided to look at Activity M... 20 Jun 2008 15:20

There will be many such, as I guess that over 80% of the old files will already be in the existing... 22 Jun 2008 03:03
Applescript vulnerability There's an interesting discussion here: http://it.slashdot.org/it/08/06/18/1919224.shtml (the exploit works on my machine). Like one guy says, you have to have physical access to the machine, it can't be done remotely. But still ... I mean, I could probably convince someone to run a shell script a hell of... 22 Jun 2008 18:20
Any experience installing Ubuntu 8.04 using "Wubi" in a WinXP BootCamp partition? Dear friends: Do you have any experience installing Ubuntu 8.04 using "Wubi" in a existing WinXP BootCamp partition? I understand that "Wubi" installs Ubuntu in the same partition that WinXP is already installed, (without erasing it, of course), and that it adds a line in Windows "BOOT.INI" file allowing you t... 19 Jun 2008 01:19
