syslogd has today started maxing one CPU core
and it starts doing it again a few minutes after I kill the syslogd process. I also just had iTunes launch spontaneously as the above occurred again. It coincided with .Mac sync running. VPN connections
When it comes to networks I don't know squat. From home I normally log into my office via a term window using ssh. My IT Administrator has informed us that as of the end of July we will no longer have ssh access but will have to use vpn to connect to the office.
