From: rf222 on 8 Jul 2008 21:01 Just got Director 11 for a hybrid cd and all works fine until I try to run from cd. Authoring on XP and burning standard hybrid disc on Mac 10.4. with older version of Toast (5). Director publishes the 2 projectors fine and no problems with pc version. The mac projector plays fine from hard drive or usb drive but not from cd. Is this just a hybrid cd issue or something deeper?

Hi rf222, This is an issue I've come across as well and has been reported to Adobe: If a Mac projector is launched from a non-HFS volume (e.g. ISO-9660, UFS), it cannot find its resources and throws an error message (needs shockwave). If you copy files from a non-supported partition back to an HFS volume, the projector runs fine with the copied files. So Macintosh D11 Projectors Will Not Run From Non-HFS Volumes Was dicovered when also trying to create a hybrid CD. The workaround was to creat a Toast binary image file. regards Dean Director Lecturer / Consultant / Director Enthusiast http://www.deansdirectortutorials.com/ http://www.multimediacreative.com.au email: d.utian(a)unsw.edu.au
