Is anyone using MacUnlimited having problems accessing email at the
moment. Eudora was refusing to connect to the server so I tried mail2web
which did via something called 'mx-1.netaccessgroup.net'. Stuck this
into Eudora as the mail server and can access my email again.
Anyone know what is going on?

Try connecting via mail2web.com. It got my emails but said I was
username(a)mx-1.netaccessgroup.net Seeing that 'mailin.macunlimited.net'
in Eudora preferences was replaced with 'mx-1.netaccessgroup.net' , the
password re-entered and I can now get mail again.

Worth a try.

Isn't there a danger that 'mailin.macunlimited.net' is the overall name
that points to whatever server they are using (this week,
'mx-1.netaccessgroup.net' but next week who knows?) and that this direct
address will break the moment they switch machines again?

Of course, it does mean that you can get you mail until they sort
themselves out, but it doesn't change the fact that their setup is
b0rken and will screw you again.

Well it's what thay said to use when I set up the account as a backup to
my main isp some years ago. It always seemed odd at the time. The email
has never been exactly reliable so you could well be right in your suggestion.
