Macromedia Director

Older File Problems...
I have a program to run from a CD-ROM disk. To start it up I need to run an EXE file from the disk. This file appears to be an older Macromedia/Shockwave/Director Player Application/File version 7.0.2.85 When I start it up it tells me it needs to install more .dll files in the system directory. AVI size limit or other problem??
Hi All, I have an AVI imported to Director. I'm controlling it with lingo and have built a basic slider control. Video is 2.93Gig - 640x480 @ 25fps. Deleted .DIR file
I have misplaced or deleted the original .dir file of a movie. I do have the proteced copy of a .drx file. Is there a program or way to convert it back to the .dir file or convert it to another file type that Director will import and use? ... 11 Jan 2007 05:33

Text Field Background transparent?
I am using a text field member to display file names that the user selects. I want this text field member to be semi-transparent or even 100% transparent but can't seem to find a way to do this.
