Director capabilities question
I've never used Director, and I'm trying to determine if it is the correct application for a project. I need to create a User Interface/menu that would allow a presenter to select from a variety of informational materials - some of which will be PowerPoint and Word docs. Question on Projector file
I'm just learing Director so please bear w/ my lack of knowledge. I'm making a projector movie that will be displayed on a kiosk. When the movie is displayed the windows box is also displayed w/ boarder(minimize/maximize/close). Controls for flash video
I converted a .mpg video into .flv format, then converted that into a .swf. I can import the .swf into director, but I don't know how to add controls to it. Is there any way to import a .flv directly into Director? And is there any way to add a control toolbar (like with a QT video) to a .swf? Thanks. ... 4 Jan 2008 14:40

I haven't touched Dirctor since back in 2004, using version 8.5. I haven't followed its usage or demand.
