Shockwave 11 is online
Maybe someone can help, I have Director MX running on Vista, shockwave player updated to 11, now my dcr files will not play on webpage yet the file is all together. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still get need latest version of shockwave. Any suggestions? ... 31 Mar 2008 19:21

D11 no alpha channel on Mac
D11 does not display the alpha channel correctly on PowerPC/Mac using RGBA TIFFs. This worked for D10. Image is all white. Any ideas please? ... 31 Mar 2008 20:02

D11 not for Win98SE
Projectors created in D10 that run on Win98SE, do not run on Win98SE when compiled in D11. A small window is opened with trash text in the title bar. Probably a unicode text incompatibility. Yup!...Don't do it. why cripple the whole machine just for the sake of Director? I really think it is very bad that Adobe even suggest that you do. SujaiS: I found the problem! My hard disk was formatted "journaled (case-sensitive)". After searching through lots of discussions and support files, I learned that apparently several Adobe applications will not run with that format. movie stack
I'm working in Director 11 and need to keep a cast member (a movie - windows media) to stay at the back of the stack and just loop. I have another member in front of it so it looks like the movie fades out into the stage. That was a good idea. I'm just guessing it's a unicode problem. I loaded the unicows.dll from the Msft site but to no avail (I stuck it in a bunch of places so that the projector had an easy chance of finding it). Dual monitors?
The workspace for dual monitors takes a little while to set up. I use a pair of 1600x1200 screens side-by-side.The tool bar isn't well placed and wastes valuable pixels but it all works.
