I was able to cull addresses from Previous Recipients. How can I remove
cards from Address Book?

Found it! Address Book has its own help.

Thanks. I couldn't find it in Mail Help. I tried Command-Delete. I
tried the contextual menu. Last night, right after I posted, it
occurred to me to try Address Book Help and there it was. (If I were
smarter I would have figured it out by myself.) I couldn't announce
that it was solved because my first post hadn't appeared.

Today I opened Thunderbird and was surprised to see my question hadn't
been answered. So I posted to say it was solved. Then your reply and
Vic's appeared. Darn! I've run into this before with Thunderbird, but
I don't know if that's where the problem is.
