Installed 2008,rebooted,old 2006 started up I installed 2008 dvd version.Every thing went smoothly but when I was prompted to remove the boot media and reboot the old 2006 ver is what came up. I have no idea where to go from here to get 2008 to start up. Help please,Dale ... 28 Oct 2007 11:00

Problems installing and using nvidia driver All: I am having problems installing and using the driver (x11-driver-video-nvidia71xx-1.0-7185.5mdv2008.0.i586) for my TNT Riva2 card. While it seemed to install fine, I don't know what to set in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file in order for Xorg to detect it. I tried nvidia but the .so nvidia driver is in a nvidia7... 19 Oct 2007 08:12
Mandriva 2008 KDE problem -- cannot change screen size All: I am having problems with KDE from Mandriva Linux 2008.
