From: yawnmoth on 1 Jul 2008 00:25 I'm trying to use a Maxtor NAS Shared Storage II on a network that uses only static IP addresses and whose subnet id is 10.0.0. How can I do this? A printer I have at my place of employment supports what it's manual refers to as IP Gleaning. You add an IP address / MAC address to the ARP cache and then ping the IP address. Failing that and DHCP, it'll broadcast RARP / BOOTP packets. Can anything like that be done for a Maxtor NAS Shared Storage II? |
