Me too. Peaked over the weekend when I got over 2,000 in a few hours -
and those were just the ones that made it past Plusnet's filters.

Seems to have eased off, so 'wait and see' may be your best strategy.

Yup, same here. I'm not sure whether or not it's eased off, because
Demon provide a 'discard DSN' service (in which delivery error messages
are discarded before they get here) and when it reaches the major
nuisance level (which it did a couple of days ago) I enable it. So I no
longer get those notifications. I'll disable it again now, and see what
happens.
