Al the better solution is a switched mic, as the users will understand how to use it if its for simple applications for 20$ a cad 22a will be fine George

Is this for a harmonica mic or something like that? Unitl I got the harp player trained to plug into his guitar amp I used a A/B footswitch which then went to an active DI box. So it was stomp on then stomp off when he remembered to do it.
