From: Verne Arase on 22 Jan 2006 19:22 I have Microsoft Office X (the first one), and recently all the apps have been crashing - Word 10.1.6, Excel 10.1.6, PowerPoint 10.1.6, and Welcome 10.0.0. Entourage and Messenger seem to work though. Anyone have any idea what's going on? They were working fine up until a short while ago. Trashing the prefs seems to do no good, and I don't see anything in Application Support. All apps seem to be crashing with: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000 It may be been since 10.4.4, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance for any help. -- Verne

I'm still running Office X (really, just the Word portion) on my dual G5 under 10.4.4. I also have Office 2004, but I have to use Word for my work because of the revision tracking and I really _HATE_ what they did with the tracking interface in Word 2004. -- Spenser

Show more of what follows in the log; it may be possible to make a guess as to the cause.
