They aren't mutually exclusive of course, which is why I'm dipping my toes back in the water. But I am out of "production". The DAW is a laptop with a FirePod (assuming I get it to work again). I am trying to limit my focus to composition. It's something I should have done years and years ago. KO

I took a break from playing live for a few years and did nothing but studio work. Now I'm playing live a lot and have a cool acoustic kit for that, and am still doing stuff in the studio on the pad kit all the time too. I don't hardly have time for anything else though. -- Remove YourHeadFromYourAss to Reply by email ________ ____ / ____/ /__ ____ ____ / __ )____ / / __/ / _ \/ __ \/ __ \/ __ / __ \ / /_/ / / __/ / / / / / / /_/ / /_/ / \____/_/\___/_/ /_/_/ /_/_____/\____/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Glennbo http://www.soundclick.com/glennbo Non-Linear Sound http://www.soundclick.com/jambits Hear My Music http://www.soundclick.com/ThePseudonyms
From: Kraig Olmstead on 22 Apr 2008 21:40 It always amazed me that you could (at least it seemed) churn out a song a week. I wish I could get some sort of throughput happening. I can't justify sinking lots of dollars into this endeavor, so I went for the Chinese Cheapies... Behringer Truth B2031A active monitors, 8" woofer, 1" tweeter, 150W/75W biamped. And I went for refurbs from Musiciansfriend, for about $70 cheaper than new. I hope I don't regret that. Anyway, thanks, y'all for the support.
