From: Alasdair on 15 Jun 2008 15:26 When I got my Orange bill for this month, I noticed a charge of 1.28 + VAT in respect of "Multimedia Services Recd" From number 80138. I called Orange billing and explained that I had ordered nothing by way of Multimedia Services and I'd never heard of number 80138. The man at Orange agreed to scrub the charge this once but I should take the matter up with the company which originated the charge, a company called Rojo Trading. I emailed Rojo Trading but have not received a reply, surprise, surprise. What puzzles me is how a company can put a charge on to my phone bill without my knowledge or consent? How can I stop this happening in the future? -- Alasdair.

With a reverse charge call, you are asked whether you accept the charge. This doesn't seem to apply to reverse charge texts. Can anyone send a reverse charge text or only people duly licensed by Ofcom? It has to be a good little earner!!!! -- alasdair.
