From: Jeroen van iddekinge on 28 Feb 2005 16:52 Hi At the place where i work we have Netgear PS101 mini printer server. The problem is that it flood our network with 'Zone information Protocol' packets (actualy 'Inetget'), that's appletalk. We don't use appletalk. According http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/PS101.asp), there are 2 versions of firmware 6101 and 6023. 6101 is for Appletalk users. It is possible to get the PS101 firmware version from it's webinterface. It says that we have a 6023 version firmware, so that is not the problem. Our sysadmin showed me the configuration utility, in wich the appletalk option was grayed out (I think because it has non Appletalk firmware). Mine question is, how can we turn of the appletalk? Has some on experience with this problem? Has anyone the same printer server and also having appletalk trafic? Regards Jeroen
