It doesn't light up indicating activity and I have checked my network connections in control panel and no new ones are reported. Network Drives Remotely We are using Novell now, but will be converting to Windows for network shares. My question is how do I make a connection to a network share when I am not in the office. User wont auto login to mapped drives I just built a new computer with a fresh install of XP. I've been able to setup everything just fine except the mapped network drives. SchCache Does anyone know exactly what happens when %systemroot%\SchCache\<forest>.sch is updated on Windows XP? Does it go out to the network and ping or RPC to all available objects in the schema?
