From: PeterTG on 11 May 2008 23:39 I have a Laptop running XP Professional and the same on the Desktop. The Desktop is connected to a USB hub as is the laptop. Previously there were communicating and I went away on 2 weeks business trip and now there is no communication. The hub is connected to an ADSL I have run the network wizard on both. When I look at network places on the desktop I can see it and the laptop OK. When I look at teh Laptop Network Places I can only see it and not the desktop. I cannot communicate either way. The cable is connected OK. Can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks -- PeterG

From: PeterTG on 12 May 2008 21:18 Thanks Chuck. I found that my security suite (Zone Alarm) was inhibiting the transfer. I am not sure why as today it is OK. Yesterday I was able to turn it off and it worked. I turned it back on and it did not. Thanks again -- PeterG "Chuck [MVP]" wrote: > On Sun, 11 May 2008 20:39:00 -0700, PeterTG <PeterTG(a)discussions.microsoft.com> > wrote: > > >I have a Laptop running XP Professional and the same on the Desktop.
