From: Sam on 16 Apr 2008 16:59 Dears, I have a software running on a server computer "XP Professional" and other computers all having XP Professional, I have changed the session suspession to be more than an hour. The problem is that: if 4 computers or less are connected to the server, the session can stay alive for 30 mins and more and works properly, otherwise, if 5 or more, the session works for 15 mins or less, after the 15 minutes, it droppes and dies. any help, please??? Cheers!

"The server" - did you carve it out of soap? Is it running AmigaOS? Do you have more than 32KB of memory installed? Assuming that it's an otherwise working XP box, it has a limitation of 5 connections if I remember correctly. I assume that the machine itself counts as one.
From: Sam on 16 Apr 2008 22:14 Hey Calab, I have windows XP professional, which means it can hold up to 10 sessions at a time, do you have an idea how can I find out how many sessions or connections are connected at a time on the server! One PC can, in theory, have all ten (10) connections. |
