Was going to get a call abroad sim, however looking at the new Camel
tariff it looks like calls to my destinations will go up over 100%.

My question is if I can get hold of a old call aboard branded sim,
will it still be charged at the call abroad rates or the new Camel
rates?

Cheers.

I suspect you would be better off with an old Orange OVP Virgin Sim,
which would give you Orange contract Roaming rate.

Hi,

Not interested in roaming, just direct dial calls. looking at the
contract direct dial calls, most of mine would fall into the rest of
world 2 band at 1.75 per min.

Camel PAYG rates would be 15p landline / 20p mobile per min.

Call abroad PAYG rates would be 7p landline/mobile per min for the
countries I call most.

Cheers.

I'm sorry I associate Camel with Roaming as it's a PAYT roaming technique.

So Bloody Orange have called a Tarff Camel!
Great that should cause lots of unnecessary confusion.

Umm I would probably look at callthroughs for calling abroad,
I would need to know which countries and if mobiles?

Hi,

I call mostly mobiles in various Caribbean countries, mainly Barbados.
I did use my 02 contract to dial 0844 and 0870 callthroughs, but not
since they stopped including them in inclusive minutes.

Have been using Tesco PAYG at 20p per min.

Cheers.
