Just had a new V3 arrive from Vodafone, turned it on and it says
'Unregistered Sim'. Anybody have any idea why? I'm doing a PAC transfer
of an old number which will go through on the 12th so could that be
why, or do I need to give them a call?

Cheers

give them a call it should not be doing that. ie your temprary number should
be up and running untill your old number goes live on VADAFONE.

Sounds OK to me (mine did something similar). Be patient!

AFAIK Vodafone don't issue temporary numbers, the account and
connection doesn't start until the number port happens. So the sim will
remain unregistered until port date. Unlike the other networks which
issue temporary numbers and bill you from day 1.
