From: Mo on 12 Feb 2006 14:31 Hi I've inherited a Advent 3408A PC http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/pc/3408a.htm Everything sounds as though it is powering up ok. There is also a red light on the motherboard. I can see the fans working too. The monitor is definitely in working order as I have tested it on another machine. The green light is on but the display just says 'Attention No signal Input' I've removed and reseated the memory. I even tried booting it with just one memory stick (there are 2 and I tried with each of them) in case this was the problem. I've checked all other connections and removed and replaced the battery. There are no beeps either (would I hear this even without speakers in?) Apparently, before this problem began, the pc wouldn't boot up. There was an error message on a blue screen but the person who gave me the pc can't remember what it was, although they are thinking there may have been a hard drive problem. Any suggestions would be brilliant. Thanks in advance
