Some of your requests have been made before and in many cases, the
issues are not OOo's but the manufacturers of the software you mention.
Remember that OOo isn't just a Windows program.

Have you contacted Nuance on this issue? The OOo developers do not have
access to the Dragon Naturally Speaking source code which makes it
pretty hard to get DNS working with OOo.

Same as with Dragon Naturally Speaking. Contact the developers to
provide the source code to be worked on or get them to provide an OOo
version.

Tables mean data base tables. I would be confused, at least for awhile.

This is adjustable now. You can have toolbars work in different ways.

The best place to provide your input is on the OOo web site. You can
submit the request for enhancement there.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, contact the manufacturers of the software
that you want to work with OOo to make this happen. They have access to
the source code for OOo but the OOo developers don't have access to
their code.

From: http://development.openoffice.org/releases/2.4.0.html#mozTocId18278

Select one or more columns or rows, or a range of cells, and hold down Alt
while moving the selection with the mouse. When the mouse button is
released, other cells/columns/rows are moved left or down, to insert the
selection. Before this feature, target cells always were overwritten.
