From: az on 11 Jan 2006 09:08 Hello! I have such a trouble with conversion OpenOfice.org docs to MS Word format. 1. Let say, I have OOo document in linux, with some formulas in OOo Math. 2. I save that document to MS Word 97/2000/etc .doc format, ... 3. and open it in Windows XP/MS Word XP. But, in formulas I see empty squares instead of many some symbols. 4. After I double-click that formula in MS Word, Word open it in MS Equation - and it looks good, as I want it to be. I'am exiting an MS Equation - and formula looks good. So, I have to click-and-exit all formulas. How to fix this problem? I'm not a specialist in this area, but may be cached image for ole object are saved with errors by OOo exporter to .doc format? If so, may be there is a way to delete or refresh all cached images for all formulas in .doc? Problem have place because I like to use OpenOffice.org, but my documents with formulas must be readable in Word by other people. Config: 1. Linux side: Ununtu Linux 5.10, OpenOffice 2.0 "from the box", "convert OOo Math to MS Equation" in Tools/Configuration/General/Load-Save is on for both load and save. 2. Windows side: Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Word XP
