One part of the article discusses why ice added to water doesn't raise the water level; more important are the conclusions from scientists working in situ on the icecaps: Greenland icecap: net - shrinking East Antarctic icecap: net -shrinking West Antarctic icecap - uncertain. Both accumulation and melting are happening in all three areas. PL. |
