I've all but abandoned RAO. *Occasionally* there's an actual audio thread I'll post to but otherwise it might as well be called rec.audio.abuse. It baffles me why anyone would want to use an audio group for political flaming mostly. I'm sure they could find a more suitable group. Graham

IT baffles me why anybody would want to subject themselves to some of the folks there. OVer ten years ago I took a look at what was going on there, and since then the only things I see coming from that group are the cross posting by certain parties from that group with the morals and ethics of the baser creatures. I don't perceive those people of being capable of reasonable rational discussion of anything. THe differenc,e I know you've some tech chops, and are capable of rational discussion. Anyone who would willingly attempt to engage those creatures in dialogue over and over knowing in advance what the result will be either craves the attention or has something else going on psychologically that I won't even try to fathom. I"m not qualified to judge, not my area of expertise. YOu and I may disagree on approaches to given situations in live sound but I still find your posts worth reading. Same goes for George, and even Phil A. at times when you can cut through the vitriol. Others don't fare as well here these days, I automatically skip over them figuring I"ll see nothing new, nothing of interest. Meanwhile, useful posts scroll off news servers to make room for the elementary school palayground. I"ve got to say this, you tried to inject some sanity into this recent cycle of stupidity, but I could have told you that your efforts would bear no fruit. THanks for trying anyway.
