From: juzliqan on 29 Nov 2005 06:54 Hi all, I am experiencing strange happenings when opening pdf documents from within a pdf. I am opening them with gotoNetPage. On my PC this works fine - the file opens (within IE). But on the client's PC first the web browser opens, and then the pdf opens separately - so they get two windows open, the web browser one empty. Does anyone know what causes this? Is there a workround _I_ can do? Is gotoNetPage() even the best way of opening a pdf? Any help would be very gratefully received, Regards, Julian :confused;
From: JohanV on 29 Nov 2005 07:11 GotoNetPage works for opening pdf's, but as you noticed, isn't all that good. You'd be better off using the buddyAPI Xtra, so you can sepcify which application is used to open a certain file. More info on the buddyAPI Xtra here: http://www.mods.com.au/frameset.htm
