The info found within the BIOS area identifies the drive D: (DVD-ROM)
as: HL-DT-STDVD-ROM; GDR8163B

and the drive E: as: Phillips DVD+/-RW; dvd8631 .

I would like to know the identify of the hardware manufacturer and
model or part number for these optical drives so that I may research
their description on the Internet.
