Prev: Pixelated Image Problem. How do I fix this?
Next: IMAP messages mysteriously disappear when marking one as read in Unread folder
From: Jinky Williams Jinky on 1 Jul 2008 17:12 I am pulling my hair out, here. I a total Outlook greenie, but need to set up a client with it. I've set up email, I successfully received an email and successfully sent out an email. Then I did something, and now new emails are not showing up anywhere. I can receive the emails, and I get the Outlook "ding" and "new mail" icon in the corner. I can check and confirm via webmail that the email address did indeed receive the emails. I can still send emails. But I cannot see any new email that has come in. I have reset all filters, made everything go back to default, to the best of my knowledge. Anyone have any ideas? I am sure it's some simple thing that I just don't know. I would love for that to be the case.

Once installed, use the dropdown to ensure that the view is set to Messages, and nothing else. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Open the Unread Mail folder under Search Folders in the Folder List view of the Navigation Pane. Do you see them there? If so, what folder does it show they're in? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
