From: Night Owl on 6 Jul 2008 11:12 Hi, I've just completely reinstalled both Vista Ultimate and Office 2007, and managed to set up Outlook to my existing IMAP e-mail account without any problems at all, with all e-mail folders synchronising perfectly. However, when I set up another user account and tried to set up that email account, Outlook isn't working properly. The settings work OK, as I've tested it with an Outlook test message and the headers of the messages are showing. The problem seems to be with Outlook, as I cannot shut the program down other than by using Task Manager, and when I do Outlook retarts, I get a 'Configuring account' pop up, and then I'm back to an unresponsive program. Funny thing is, I can delete messages, I can only open one at a time (I get an error sound when I try to open another message) and the preview screen doesn't show anything for ages. I've tried to set up the account again, with the same problems, yet the account works perfectly from another PC in my home network. I'm really confused. Thanks, Pete
