Suddenly, out of the blue, I get this message that says,
"Microsoft Outlook Connector

This service is unavailable right now. Please try again later...."

Then, it trys to do a update anyway and brings up a Repair/Remove panel.
Even though I proceed, Outlook is still offline to my Hotmail accounts.

How can Microsoft do this? I paid a lot of money for Office 2003 and then
they release a MANDATORY Outlook Connector update that is totally buggy.

Now, the only way that I can access my Hotmail accounts is to do so via the
web. This bites. WHY couldn't Microsoft leave things alone. Everything was
working until this update.

You need to download the latest version from here:

<http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=39db2b89-af2e-41f9-a175-f93e1377959f&displaylang=en>

The link for 64 bit systems is at the bottom of the above link.

It happened with me as well, however I am using OL2007. OL still works but
not with hotmail now. Every time OL starts up it tells me I must update the
Office Outlook Connector to get Outlook Connector email. The update never
applies itself. "Microcrap!"
